The latest sign that life is returning to normal for Great Ape Trust's seven bonobos can be seen twice a day when they venture into their outdoor yard, closed for much of the summer due to flooding.

All five orangutans together after smooth introduction ALL FIVE ORANGUTANS TOGETHER AFTER SMOOTH INTRODUCTION
Orangutans Katy and Rocky, who retired from the entertainment industry in July, are now living with longtime residents Azy, Knobi and Allie. Dr. Rob Shumaker, director of orangutan research, said the successful introductions are a credit to his staff and to the orangutans themselves. Knobi and Rocky, pictured, have formed a close bond that is much like mother and son.
